The drive to Boonville is one of our favorites.
Things to know about the area:
- Cell service is available in some areas, but can be spotty to non-existent in many places.
- GPS will work and has lead us straight to the area as long as you keep your maps running until you reach your destination.
- Fill up on gas in Cloverdale, Ukiah, or immediately when you see a gas station. There are not many options in Philo, and none in Boonville.
- Plan lunch and day time meals out with your friends and family.
- Plan for extra drive time and take the curvy roads slowly.
They say, "Once you cross the county line, put your head in vacation mode and don't wait until you arrive because in Mendocino County, its all about the journey."

Love,
Min & Jeff
